Exciting Announcement!!!
Small Yellow House is now offering Virtual Lessons in Financial Literacy, In-Person Lessons in Gardening and Landscape Design using FFL Principles (available in Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties), as well as Fairy Garden Workshops! While these lessons are mainly focused on K-12 youth, adults are also welcome. Lessons are customized to each individual participant; this is not a rinse-and-repeat situation. Electives listed have been fully approved by SUFS, meaning Small Yellow House is an approved provider and able to be directly paid for with scholarship funds, just in time for the start of the 2026-27 school year!

Whether it’s nurturing a garden, designing an outdoor space, sparking imagination through miniature worlds, or building confidence with financial knowledge, each offering is crafted to help individuals elevate their skills, creativity, and independence.
Gardening
Our gardening program empowers individuals to connect with nature while learning practical, hands-on skills. Sustainability and environmental health is reinforced using the FFL 9 Principles. Participants explore planting techniques, soil health, seasonal care, and sustainable practices that make gardening both enjoyable and rewarding. From beginners to budding horticulturists, we help everyone cultivate confidence, one seed at a time.
Landscape Design
Landscape Design using FFL Principles blends creativity with real-world planning. Participants learn how to envision, sketch, and bring outdoor spaces to life through design principles, plant selection, layout strategies, and functional aesthetics. This offering encourages artistic expression while teaching the fundamentals of transforming outdoor areas into beautiful, purposeful environments.
Fairy Gardens
Our Fairy Gardens offering invites imagination to take center stage. Participants create whimsical miniature landscapes using plants, tiny structures, and decorative elements. It’s a playful, therapeutic activity that encourages storytelling, creativity, and fine motor skills. Cost of workshop includes all materials/supplies needed to create a magical piece of art and also means no hassles dealing with SUFS reimbursements! Fairy Gardens are perfect for all ages and bring a sense of magic to everyday life.
Financial Literacy
Financial Literacy is a cornerstone of personal empowerment. Providing accessible, easy-to-understand guidance on budgeting, saving, banking, credit, and long-term financial planning. Participants gain practical knowledge that helps them make confident decisions, build stability, and take meaningful steps toward financial independence.

- Over 20 Years of Experience as an Investment Manager and Strategic Sourcing Manager, Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker, and College Educated in Economics, Business, and Finance
- Over 14 Years of Experience working as a Landscape Designer, Using FFL Principles, with Commercial and Residential Properties
