“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.”
– Audrey Hepburn
I have been providing private clientele with Landscaping Design services, utilizing Florida Friendly Landscaping practices, since 2012. I have been volunteering and working with children since 2000. My decades of experience in these fields combined into a passion for Gardening and Civic Engagement with youth which I have refined even further through advanced certificates in these unique topics.
Civic Engagement: Civic engagement is about working with others to make a difference in our communities and to address shared social problems through local governance. Civic engagement promotes the quality of life in a community, through both political and non-political processes, such as participating in community efforts, building partnerships, and working with organizations.
If you are curious about my services with landscape design using FFL principles and/or having your children participate in youth gardening groups and classes I orchestrate, please reach out using the contact page for more information!
I hold training certificates through University of Florida/IFAS Extension in:
- Florida Friendly Landscaping – Design Considerations
- Community Gardening Specialist
- CAPE (Community Action Projects for the Environment) Leader – Environmental Education Program
